The Sky was Pregnant with Possibilities
This work is an abstract landscape inspired by the drama in the sky with the change of light. Pigments include tara pod, logwood, and indigo. Layers are created by submerging the paper into dye baths and the pigments are absorbed in the the papers' fibers, allowing them to take their own shape and depth.
Overall size is 21”h x 60”w.
Mounted on a hardwood cradle with an acid-free wheat paste and framed with a maple floater frame, it's protected with an additional layer of wax and UV varnish. Please allow 4-6 weeks for framing.
