Estuaries is a triptych created with beeswax and botanical pigments on a heavy-weight cotton printmaking paper. It’s inspired by the lively and rich lands in South Carolina on the ocean. Each color is handmade and include botanical sources of Japanese indigo, goldenrod, black walnut, logwood and onion skin. The indigo is grown in Minnesota and celebrates this amazing blue pigment.

The artwork is mounted on a hardwood cradles with an acid-free wheat paste and framed with a poplar floater frame with natural finish. An additional layer of protection is added with an additional layer of wax and UV varnish.

Overall size of each panel is 15”w x 61”. Three panels are included. Overall size with spacing is 50” x 61” x 3”
