Vessel
Vessel is a triptych created with beeswax and botanical pigments on a heavy-weight cotton printmaking paper. It’s inspired by the lovely color of logwood and the history that accompanies the pigment. Each color is handmade and include botanical sources of Indigo, Logwood, Madder Root, Sumac. The indigo is grown in Minnesota and celebrates this amazing blue pigment.
The artwork is mounted on a hardwood cradles with an acid-free wheat paste and framed with a poplar floater frame with natural finish. An additional layer of protection is added with an additional layer of wax and UV varnish.
Overall size of each panel is 12” x 36”. Three panels are included and measures 36” x 36” roughly depending on spacing.
